Dr. Anthony Monnin, UCA, DCCJP
Dr. Monnin has been serving patients at his current Upper Cervical Health Centers (UCHC) office location in Botkins, Ohio since 2009. After graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Monnin attended post-graduate training and received certification from the Upper Cervical Academy (UCA). This post doctorate program gives doctors specialized training in Upper Cervical anatomy, history and philosophy, basic and advanced neurology of the Upper Cervical spine, Upper Cervical protocols and Upper Cervical pediatrics. He also received a Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP) in 2015. This 320+ hour postgraduate program took approximately three years to complete and included, among other topics, several modules on anatomy, neurology, spinal biomechanics, imaging, and research. Dr. Monnin is a member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) Council on Upper Cervical Care and locates, analyzes, and adjusts the upper cervical spine using the Upper Cervical techniques of Knee Chest and Side Posture Toggle Recoil. He is the recipient of the 2012 ROAR (Reach Out and Recruit) Doctor of the Year awarded by Sherman College of Chiropractic and has been a featured speaker at the Upper Cervical Evolution Conference. Dr. Monnin is also the recipient of the 2009 Visionary Award, and the 2012 and 2013 Atlas Award given by UCHC, Inc. to the Up and Coming Doctor of the Year and the Office of the Year, respectively.
In his words, “My mission is quite simple; To serve God by serving the people and families of our community through Upper Cervical Care. Upper Cervical Care changed my life. I now work to help others get their life back through this safe and effective form of healthcare.” Some of Dr. Monnin’s hobbies include golf, skiing, reading, and spending time with his family.

Julia Monnin Julia has been working at the UCHC, Botkins office since it’s opening in 2009. She is currently working as an Office Consultant. She has a BA in Psychology from Wright State University and has been a featured speaker at the Upper Cervical Evolution Conference. As the wife of Dr. Monnin and consultant, Julia is committed to serving those in the office and community by helping spread the word about Upper Cervical Care and its numerous health benefits. She has been quoted as saying, “The tragedy is not that some hear about Upper Cervical Care and decide to try something different; the tragedy is that there are millions of sick and suffering people that have never heard of it and therefore don’t know it’s even an option for them.” In her free time, Julia enjoys reading, writing, speaking, playing golf, water skiing, and spending time with her family.
Tricia Dietz Tricia began working at Upper Cervical Health Centers in 2010. Since then, she received a degree in Business Management from Wright State University. She is currently working as the office manager and has been in this role since 2014. Tricia is a dedicated, hard working member of the team who is committed to helping the office run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Before working in this office, Tricia was a patient of Dr. Monnin’s. She suffered from severe Migraine headaches for years and went from doctor to doctor trying to find relief before hearing about Upper Cervical Care. Since becoming a patient of Dr. Monnin in early 2009, Tricia no longer suffers from Migraines. She is one of the countless people who “Got Their Life Back” from Upper Cervical Care. Tricia is also a wife and mother. In her free time she enjoys playing golf, volleyball, and spending time with those she loves most namely her husband, Travis, her two daughters, Carlie and Adelynn, and her golden retriever, Allie
Darla Dietz As a devoted housewife, mother of five, and child caregiver Darla spent over 30 years of her life taking care of her family and the children entrusted to her. She entered the workforce in 2010 when she became employed at Upper Cervical Health Centers as a Chiropractic Assistant. Since that time, Darla has made it her goal to love and serve every person she meets in the office. She is committed to helping Dr. Monnin provide the highest quality of care to all of his patients in whatever way she can. Like in her family life, Darla has become the glue that holds the team together and is always eager to learn and take on new tasks. When not working, Darla enjoys reading and spending time with her ever-growing family consisting of 12 grandchildren.
Kris Ware Kris began working for Dr. Monnin as an Exam Tech in the fall of 2014. She received her GXMO (General X-Ray Machine Operator) license in October of 2014. Kris is a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and is also employed at an OBGYN office. She has been serving others in this line of work for the last 14 years. Kris enjoys working closely with doctors and has a special love for working one-on-one with patients. Outside of the office she enjoys camping, playing softball, and spending time with her family. Kris, along with her boyfriend, Andy, have three children; Zac, Camdyn, and Trent. She is a highly-motivated, knowledgeable, and compassionate addition to the UCHC, Botkins team.
